Greater Manchester Caribbean and African Scoping Exercise
The Caribbean and African Community have become an ever-growing and significant part of Britain. The statistics reveal that they make up over 6% of the population in England and Wales and these numbers are growing especially within the African population.
The aim of the scoping exercise is to provide intelligence on where the Black community lives across the 10 localities of Greater Manchester. The information gathered will enable us to identify where members of the community are largely concentrated and to seek ways to enhance or address deficit in services that can lead to health inequalities. This data will enable us to better articulate the needs of our community as we engage with service providers and commissioners.
This survey adheres to ethical guidelines and all information gathered will be treated in the strictest confidence. You are not required to provide your name and personal identifiable data will not be collected as part of this survey.
If you are responding to the organisational section of the survey, we would appreciate the organisational details so that we can identify what services exist and where within Greater Manchester
If you would like further information on any aspect of this survey then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for the time you have given to complete this survey, a report will be published on our website when the exercise has been completed. This project has been commissioned by Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
