The Caribbean & African Health Network (CAHN) successfully hosted our International Women’s Day event focused on Womb Health in the Digital Era on March 7th, 2025 at Birley Fields, Hulme. With 200 attendees from diverse backgrounds, the event exceeded our expectations.
Event Highlights: Our afternoon conference and workshops addressed critical women’s health topics including fibroids, menopause, sickle cell and fertility, menstrual conditions, and digital innovations in treatment and screening. Participants gained valuable insights from expert speakers and engaged in meaningful discussions.
The evening celebration featured delicious Caribbean and African cuisine, networking opportunities, captivating drama performances, and cultural showcases that honoured the remarkable women of our communities.
This free event successfully brought together people from various backgrounds to celebrate women’s contributions while providing education and inspiration. The partnerships with organizations across the Caribbean and African communities strengthened our collective impact.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all attendees, speakers, performers, and partners who made this day memorable, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to our International Women’s Day celebration in 2026!
